include a "Learn How to Play in a Band" session. This session combines keyboardists, guitarists and drummers in a supervised and fun workshop. If you'd like to learn how to play and experience what it's like to play in a band then these classes are for you. Don't miss out on the fun!
Get ready to rock! This fun class is for the absolute beginner electric guitarist. Students will be introduced to the basics of electric guitar playing, music fundamentals, and how to play in a band by learning fun, contemporary and classic rock songs. Topics include: Tuning, chord strumming, power chording, blues and the fundamentals of note and rhythm reading. Songs include material from Green Day, Blink182, Led Zeppelin and more! Lesson 7 includes playing with a live bass and drums. This is too much fun! Students will need to have their own electric guitar. Amps, cords and booklet will be provided. You can and will play the guitar in this dynamic and educational class. This course is for the absolute adult beginning guitarist. Students will be introduced to the basics of guitar playing and music fundamentals by learning fun pop and classic rock songs. Topics include: tuning, chord strumming, power chording, blues and the fundamentals of note and rhythm reading. Songs include material from Van Morrison, The Eagles and The Beatles. This is the follow-up class to the beginning guitar and beginning electric guitar classes. This class continues various techniques and styles of guitar playing. Topics include: an intro to fingerpicking, bar chord playing, scales and core music fundamentals as well. Songs include blues, pop, classic and modern rock styles. If you are a beginner and can navigate basis G, D and C chords you will fit in well in this class. Don't miss out on this fun and educational opportunity! Junior Singers is for beginning vocalists ages 6-9. This class explores basic singing skills through creative and fun games. Students learn the basic elements of breath control, voice placement, tone, phrasing and pitch in a fun-oriented format. In this low-stress environment, students who chose to sing on their own will gain the benefit of getting immediate direction. Those students who don t feel ready to sing by themselves will have the opportunity to explore vocalization with the rest of the class through various vocal exercises and songs that the class will learn together. Play and enjoy the piano NOW! Students will be taught the basics of playing music on the piano/keyboard. Topics include: basic notes, rhythm and theory as well as finger exercises, chords and scales, all with the goal of being able to play basic keyboard accompaniment parts and fun songs. Keyboards will be provided for students in class. However, students will need a keyboard at home for practice. Recommended resources for purchasing or renting a keyboard will be provided at the first class. Learn the basics of piano playing while playing fun songs in this low-pressure environment. Students will be taught the basics of piano/keyboard technique and basic notes, chords and theory. By the end of this course, students will be able to play basic keyboard parts and songs all while having fun. Keyboards will be provided for students in class, however, students will need a keyboard at home for practice. This is the follow-up class to the beginning keyboard class. Students will continue mastering the basics of playing music on the piano/keyboard. Topics include: sight-reading, ear training, playing chord accompiament parts to pop and rock songs, as well as playing pieces from classic piano repertoire. A class that is as fun as it is educational. Keyboards will be provided for students in class. However, students will need a keyboard at home for practice. Learn how to play drums in a Rock band. This course will provide students with the fundamentals of playing the drum set, reading music, understanding rhythm and tempo. Students will learn rudimentary stick exercises to help build muscle control and dexterity then apply these skills to play primary rock drum beats to popular rock songs.
