Get ready to rock! This fun class is for the absolute beginner electric guitarist. Students will be introduced to the basics of electric guitar playing, music fundamentals, and how to play in a band by learning fun, contemporary and classic rock songs. Topics include: Tuning, chord strumming, “power” chording, blues and the fundamentals of note and rhythm reading. Songs include material from Green Day, Blink182, Led Zeppelin and more! Lesson 7 includes playing with a live bass and drums. This is too much fun!! Students will need to have their own electric guitar. Amps, cords and booklet will be provided.
