Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

1. At what age should my child start taking lessons?

The best age for a student to begin taking lessons is at around 6 years old. Younger students sometimes do not have the motor skills or physical size to handle an instrument.

2. Do you sell or rent instruments?

No. But check out our links for a list of recommended retailers.

3. When will I/my student be able to play a song proficiently?

Each student develops at a different rate of proficiency. Improvement in playing is dependent upon one's natural musical ability, disciplined practice, and passion to learn. Yet, if one is committed to learn and practices regularly, you should see a noticeable improvement over time.

4. How much do lessons cost?

Lessons cost $130 for four(4) half-hour instrumental lessons. Voice lessons cost $140 for four(4) half-hour lessons.

5. Is there a discount if more than one child is enrolled or if my child takes more than one instrument? Yes. If 2 or more students from one family are enrolled the monthly rate is reduced to $120 per month per student.
